Travel Time: Hood River

Exploring Hood River | Colby June

The Northwest never fails to astound me with its lusciousness and grandeur. Coming from the aridity of Colorado, I always revel in the moisture and abundance of water. I’ve spent a little bit of every summer in Hood River, Oregon since age seven, and went to college in Portland, so it feels a little like going home. There is never enough time to do everything. There is rarely a plan, but somehow everyday unfolds packed with activities, friends, family and incredible food, wine and coffee. Some of our favorite activities include windsurfing or kiting, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, a city day, coffee and art.
